Havoc Farms Pork - Claire from Havoc Farm took us through this tasting and not only does the bacon, chorizo, ham, sausages and steaks taste great but the pigs are treated very well. 

 

  • Pigs are outside, free to display natural behavior with plenty to eat and drink and frolic at will
  • No antibiotics or growth promotants
  • Good healthy diet of locally grown grain with a few added ingredients such as garlic and cider vinegar
  • Weaning at six to eight weeks rather than the industry standard of three weeks
